“Face of Hate" Documentary of reformed Livingston Co KKK leader

“Face of Hate" is a 2024 documentary film following the radicalization and eventual redemption of Jasen Barker, an American domestic terrorist who was on the brink of violence driven by white supremacy. Danish journalist and author Steffen Hou spent a decade documenting Barker's life, from his descent into hate following childhood trauma to his transformation into a man advocating for forgiveness and understanding. The book is also the basis for a 2013 documentary of the same name, which further investigates the historical and ongoing impact of race-based entitlement programs and the concept of a post-racial society. Lessons from a former white power leader turned activist

Christian Picciolini chronicles his involvement in and exit from the early American white-supremacist skinhead movement in his memoir, WHITE AMERICAN YOUTH, and is the featured subject in season 3 of WBEZ-Chicago’s 'Motive' podcast. For nearly two decades, he has helped hundreds of individuals disengage from hate. These are good books for guys leaving the white supremacy movement.
