Together, we have game changing massive power as recently seen with the Kimmel and Disney/Hulu situation. The responsibility is on us to fix things as fast as possible and we do that by breaking up with The Extremist empire.
Understand that corporate giants (the largest companies in the U.S.) are the tools of the ruling class.
Their profits are built on stoking division, supplying the war machine, and sustaining inequality, which is why we see them paying loyally to terrible political leaders, fusing corporate power with political power- a defining feature of fascism.
Boycotts are an extremely effective way to apply pressure on a corrupt and unresponsive capitalist system.
They hit power where it listens most: the flow of money.
We can’t afford to continue funding corporations hell-bent on causing chaos in our lives.

Directions for Boycotting
-Shop ANYWHERE BUT Amazon *local as much as possible*
-Drop Google. Transfer your email provider from Google to Proton Mail or Tutanota. You can use browsers like Ecosia, Duck Duck Go or Brave instead of Chrome. Use CryptPad, Etherpad, or OnlyOffice instead of Google Docs or Microsoft 365 -Microsoft is terrible as well). Google Cloud / Drive (use Proton, OnlyOffice, LibreOffice + Nextcloud, Zoho WorkDrive). Google Maps - delete the app! It tracks and sells your data! (use Organic Maps + Magic Earth)
When you stop using Google, tell them why, e.g. “I am no longer using Google because I am dropping all material support for the major financiers of the war machine, mass inequality, and the climate crisis.”
Devote an hour to divest from Google today. Way too busy? Schedule a time in your planner to make it happen in the near future. Don’t let the following list overwhelm you. A goal of replacing 2-3 of these companies per week is very realistic and will have a massive impact.
-Get a new cell service provider: We can use CREDO Mobile instead of Verizon or AT&T -which is awful. When we make these switches, let the companies know why.
-For your next cell phone don't buy an Apple or a Samsung. Google has taken over Android - an alternative is to install CalyxOS for now. For your next phone try switching to Fairphone 5 or Librem 5. Murena is another option. Tell Apple/Samsung why!
Places not to shop and alternatives
-Lowes or Home Depot - try your best to find local hardware.
-Microsoft Office - use ONLYOFFICE instead
-Microsoft Azure (OpenStack, Eco‑Cloud (e.g., Green Cloud Solutions), Vultr (Carbon‑Neutral option)
-Motorola
-Nestle
-Starbucks - local coffee shops
-Whole Foods (owned by Amazon) - farmers markets/supporting family farms is best. Costco is good.
Where you put your money matters
-Divest from empire stocks: If you have to be in the stock market, call your financial manager and tell them to divest from Palantir, and every arms company. Ask for the Socially Responsible / ESG package (often called “Socially Responsible Investing” or SRI funds).
-Divest from big banks: Drop Chase, WellsFargo, Citi, etc. They're all horrific. Join a local credit union. And if you can't drop your big bank completely because they've monopolized services you need, drop them halfway. Use them only for what you need in a pinch. Keep a minimum amount in that account. And keep most of your money elsewhere. Let them know why.
Start as soon as possible.
You don't have to do this all in one day. One step at a time. Add it to your calendar. That's the small stuff that all put together, will become incredibly significant.

Imagine if we directed our outrage, by protesting one corporate giant at a time, to taking down the fascist/corrupt system that is making our lives so miserable.

CONNECT LOCALLY
Look up your local representatives, find out their priorities, and instead of using a form letter, write them a letter of your own. Go to city council meetings, school board meetings or library meetings. Pick what you are most passionate about and go once/month. Start getting more involved in local governance in whatever way you can- this is crucial.
